This has to one of the dumbest things I have seen in a while and why the media truly is the message:

So this guy, youtuber Sargon of Akkad (Carl Benjamin) has a weekly video he puts out called "This week in Stupid" that focuses on why current feminists and "regressive" progressives are dumb. Near the end of this last video while reading a news site quoting Jess Phillip and British MP talking about harassment he says "I wouldn't even rape you." Then he tweeted the video to her with the quote. I have seen a few questionable videos with Jess got my dander up about her (will link one at bottom), but this kind of sarcasm does not translate well over the internet.

ETA: I think he was trying to use the millennial's "I wouldn't even.." slang, but being in his mid 30s really fucked it up.

He is technically correct about the whole thing being a farce, but tactically he really fucked up. Then he made this short video about the reaction:

So basically you had about 600 people tweeting to Jess that either they or Sargon would not rape her. What kind of nonsense is this?

This youtuber has the best rundown of it:

The video that Sargon asked someone to find about Jess Phillips giving short shrift to men's issues in parliament:
