North Sumatra

I am planning a trip to North Sumatra - Katambe to be precise. Will be living in the deep jungle for a week in search of orang utan and other wildlife sighting.

Anybody been? Recently? I am researching the trip now and will be going in a couple of months. First thing I realized quickly is that it's Muslim so I need to be careful not to let anyone know my travel companion (male as am I) and I are intimate.

Also learning what shots to get. They are more expensive than I thought.

Homosexuality is outrageous by their standards. We will be saying we are away on a retreat as friends to "get away from out wives for a few days".
