In our family, sometimes it's eggs and cottage cheese for breakfast. I still enjoy it and haven't met anyone else who does or has had it. No idea where it originated either.

I'll pair OJ with dairy, mashed potatoes with a burger, I HATE mayo on anything (it "dumbs down" the flavor).

Occasionally there's a place that has a beer that tastes like straight up vomit, and I order it because it's the taste of vomit without the actual disgustingness of vomit (don't judge me!)

Also, curry on salmon. Yum!

Corn and bacon.
That actually sounds delicious.
Yabut so does shoe leather and bacon.
Have you never had corn with Cajun seasoning?

That plus the rich savoriness of bacon... I'm seriously thinking getting some seasoned corn Slim's and then frying up some bacon to eat with that. Maybe even frying it "dead", crushing it to powder, and powdering the seasoned corn with it.

Trying to think of the corn and bacon dishes I’ve had. All that comes to mind is corn with bacon cheeseburgers.
🤷

I have been getting clementines, small seedless mandarin oranges. Great in a salad with avocado, blue cheese and tomato.
Ffff yeah, oranges with cheese. It's my breakfast most days.

Now I wish the break room also stocked cherry tomatoes.

I like mayo on a BLT.

That sounds delicious. I've had corn and bacon maybe a couple of times over the last few decades. My inspiration for saying this was from an old comedy routine by Franklin Ajaye (is he still around?) from the '70's or '80's where he said something like, "Ever notice how bachelors eat stuff that don't really go together? Like the other night, my I asked my bachelor friend Jimmy what he had for dinner and he said, "Corn and bacon"". There's a lot of truth in that, speaking as a lifelong bachelor. I find myself having maybe a bowl of Frosted Flakes and some leftover rice for dinner...random stuff like that. Its not so much that I find such combinations palatable, but I'm just a big fucking lazy ass about planning meals and grocery shopping.
