Oh Canada, you too have #BLM idiots?

discussion of the events would likely detract from his fake outrage at the idea of black people protesting.
While there is a substantial intersection of these two sets, #BLM != all black people. There are many non-blacks participating in #BLM and many blacks who disagree with #BLM.
Black people who get killed by cops are all thugs who had it coming.
Black or white, police usually do a proper job when using deadly force. But it is almost exclusively black shootees who engender #BLM style outrage and protests.
Also note the fake outrage at the thought of black people fathering many children.
My point was about crazy people fathering many children, but thanks for playing.
Derec probably has trouble sleeping at night thinking about how the black thugs are being fruitful and multiplying while he can't get a woman to go out with him.
Fixed it for you, but that is indeed annoying.

Derec, how come you decided not to include this part of the article?
I did not think it was credible. A civilian police oversight board (called "Special Investigations Unit") reviewed all the available evidence, including the video and apparently saw nothing of this woman calming him down or holding his hands immediately before the shooting.
article said:
A summary of the SIU investigation released by the watchdog says police were called around midnight July 5, 2015, after receiving a 911 call stating Loku was inside a neighbour’s apartment, armed with a hammer and threatening to kill the tenant. Two officers arrived on scene, drew their weapons and ordered Loku to stop and drop the hammer.
According to the SIU news release, Loku did not follow the commands, walked toward officers and said: “What you gonna do? Come on, shoot me.” As he advanced toward the two officers, one of them shot Loku twice in the chest.
“Confronted with an armed and violent suspect who had neared to within three metres or less and was refusing to stop, I am satisfied that the subject officer fired his weapon believing it to be necessary to thwart an imminent hammer attack,” SIU director Tony Loparco said in a statement.
The SIU’s ruling is based on the police recordings of a 911 call, a partial video of the scene, the statements of several eyewitnesses to the shooting and more.
I find that more credible than the deceased's friend, who is hardly a disinterested witness.
You thought it wasn't important that the protest was about asking for information? Or that there was a witness who said he was NOT approaching the police with a raised hand? And that they just want the video which shows that one way or the other?
Video should be released as provided by Canadian and Ontario law. Not based on demands by an angry mob. Just like with Jamar Clark, although Minneapolis police should have gotten some of that black stuff for occupiers' fires which would have shortened the occupation considerably.

P.S.: It says he was father of five. Why do women love to go for the loco ones?

Apparently even crazy people know how to talk to women.

So my mistake was that I was talking to women like a sane person?

One wonders why the video has not been released.
Perhaps Ontario or Canadian law? LE agencies should not make particular decisions because an angry mob demands it. That way lies barbarism.

Perhaps Law Enforcement agencies should simply release video evidence to the public once their investigations are concluded, instead of forcing the press to file legal paperwork or the public to stage protests in order to review it.

It would same time if not trouble.

Perhaps. But it should be done as a general change in policy, not as a response to protests.

I agree, but I don't think that sort of change is likely to happen unless there are protests.

The police are not claiming that they cannot release the tape. The request makes sense and it is reasonable.
