PITTSBURGH — Robert Bowers, the man accused of killing eleven people when he opened fire at a Pittsburgh synagogue during services Saturday morning, showed no emotion as he arrived for his first court appearance Monday wearing shackles and being pushed in a wheelchair surrounded by U.S. Marshals.

Bowers, 46, was charged with 29 felony counts, including 11 counts of use of a firearm to commit murder and 11 counts of obstruction of the exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death.

He also faces 11 state charges, including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Unbelievable.

Consider the sleazebag lawyer defending him because, personally, I doubt this asshole is that smart. Either way, he's gonna burn....and deservedly so.

We don't burn people at the stake. He'll likely get a needle.

Also, he needs a lawyer. That ensures our justice system.

I thought he was in a wheelchair because of his injuries from being shot.

"Burn" means in Hell after death. His means of conveyance is irrelevant.

Of course he needs a lawyer and it's right that he has one....even a scumbag ambulance-chasing shyster who graduated from the American Samoa Law School. Motto: "find a way or make one"

More likely he's anticipating the ass-pounding he's going to get in prison as an initiation into the Aryan Asshole Association.

I would think they would welcome him as a fellow traveller.

Agreed.....after the group initiation ceremony. I hear those Aryan Assholes really like a good ass-fucking....you know, so much time in prison and all. :)

SCOTUS ruled that condemning someone to burn in hell is unconstitutional.

Personally, I doubt "Hell" exists as depicted in Christian mythology. After all, how could a God be all loving and all merciful yet condemn someone to an eternity in Hell for being nuts or gay?
