Either Mr. Trump was serious or he was sarcastic. Frankly, at a minimum, it was recklessly irresponsible of him to make those statements because there are people who will take him at his word. If you don't believe that, here is an article (https://www.startribune.com/president-is-playing-nation-s-doctor-as-he-promotes-virus-treatments/569954752/that documents doctors started prescribing chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine at a much higher rate after he touted it as a cure.

So what you're saying is that even doctors are prescribing this to patients? Why can't the doctors say no?

Trump is not responsible for what doctors do. If doctors are prescribing it, it's because it works at least a little bit. No doctor is just going to hear the President say something and prescribe it if it contradicts all their medical training.

C'mon guys, be smarter than this.
Your missing something vital here. It's not a matter of the doctors being at fault instead of your orange overlord, it's that they're BOTH to blame.
