Quantum physics vs Deepak Chopra (and other woo-peddlers)

Woo-peddlers just love using quantum physics to "prove" things because no one really understands quantum physics. Hippy-dippy new age types such as Deepak Chopra seem to delight in making ridiculous supernatural assertions using quantum physics, such as that the observer effect "proves" that being sentient gives you superpowers.

In this video the subject of Quantum Theory is discussed and Chopra tries to defend his views. It is long and about more than Quantum Theory.

Chopra is your typical charlatan. When his position is shown to be in error he either ignores the criticism or squirms to a new position. The fact that this man makes a very good living preying on the gullible is just a testament to the effects religion has on the human mind. It makes people vulnerable to nonsense like this.
