Now, I'm not saying the US House Representative from the 14th District of Georgia is a Nazi, just that she talks about them a lot! An awful lot. She compared getting vaccinated with wearing the Star of David during the early years of Nazi ruled Germany. Most recently (and after having visited the Holocaust Museum), she made the comparison of a push for vaccination with Nazi Brown Shirts, though not while wearing a Brown Shirt herself, because again, I'm not calling her a Nazi, just pointing out that she has Nazis in her head so often.
Rep. Greene who is not necessarily a Nazi said:
People have a choice, they don't need your medical brown shirts showing up at their door ordering vaccinations. You can't force people to be part of the human experiment.
The human experiment she was referring to was the barbaric operations performed on those targeted by the Nazis during the days of the Holocaust... and of course juxtapositioning that with getting a vaccination so that people don't get sick. How she managed to compare vaccination with those barbaric crimes against humanity just makes one wonder a bit more, why does she always have Nazis on the mind.

In her defense, the Representative didn't bring up Nazis once when throwing out the idea that a satellite that doesn't exist, owned by scary Jewish named people (kinda Nazi like stuff), could be responsible for those weird color blasts allegedly observed by people (not alleged to be Nazis) in California.

So again, not saying she is a Nazi. Just that she loves talking about them. Like someone that is a Nazi.

Correct. Only lefties are allowed to use Nazi analogies against their opponents.

LOL...well I've heard it said (literally) that this 'human experiment' is causing neurodegenerative diseases. So it must be true.

Yes, the in-law's 83 year old mother had the vaccine 3-4 months ago, and now her increasing memory issues must be due to The Shot. Of course the fact that the doctors are having trouble re-calibrating her blood pressure meds is not part of the issue, nor the recent transient stroke she had could be it...yeah, it must be those whack-a-noodle conspiracy shit sites he reads/watches (The Gateway Pundit for one) that have the truth.

Define fascism.

Concentration of power invested in a cult of personality constructed in close association with a militarized, unified vision of a strong authoritarian state.

Don't forget stomping out Communism and blaming societies ills on "undesirables".
Tom

If you like. I think you can build a fascist state from any ideological soil, though; the "externalized internal" threat is a matter for a potentally powerful leader to identify and exploit based on whatever existing prejudices are already found within the ruling class.

Look at these dirty wet fascists.

I remember those times, Trausti, young though I was. I don't see what they have to do with whatever point you're trying to imply with respect to Representative Greene, and often wish you would simply make your arguments rather than posting tangentially relevant videos and typing out vague but emotional political rhetoric. I answered your question earnestly, straightforwardly, and succinctly. Twice. In return I get nostalgic Youtube videos from the 1980's? If you have a point, you should make it.

Also vegetarianism and animal rights.

as several contemporaneous witnesses—such as Albert Speer (in his memoirs, Inside the Third Reich)—noted that Hitler used vivid and gruesome descriptions of animal suffering and slaughter at the dinner table to try to dissuade his colleagues from eating meat. An examination of Hitler's skull carried out by French scientists in 2017 found no traces of meat fibre in the tartar on Hitler's teeth.

My initial point was that the left had no problems whatsoever making Nazi analogies to vilify their political opponents. For lefties now to act outraged that someone they dislike uses the same rhetoric is hella hutzpah.

You guys vilify anyone you disagree with by accusing them of being socialists. Don't be fucking greedy.

Greene isn't just the average American who might rant about the opposite party. She is a member of Congress who calls her opponents vicious names and has even threatened a few of them at times. What member of the Democratic Party has called her opponents Nazis? What Democrat in Congress has threatened anyone in the Republican Party?

It's sickening that a vaccine has become so political. Refusing to be vaccinated is, among other things, an insult to the hard working medical community. Many of them are becoming very burned out from this virus. I read about nurses leaving the profession or choosing areas of nursing that won't expose them to this type of unrelenting stress. But, MTG sees people who have worked to save lives, regardless of their political ideology, with Nazis, simply because they are trying to protect all of us from a serious virus, which has killed over 800,000 Americans. You really can't compare any Democrats in office with Greene. If any Democratic members in Congress have called Republicans Nazis for trying to do advocate for public health, please give us the evidence.

Define fascism.

Fascism is the lack of a democracy with the government and capitalist corporations intertwined. The government working in the interests of big business and opposed to regulating big business.

The US teeters close.

And even more to the point, some people(particularly politicians) are a whole lot more fascist than others.

Making false claims about elections and stirring people's emotions about it with lies is something a fascist would do.

I think it's a bad faith argument whenever a right-winger asks for a definition of fascism. They consistently go out of their way to vote for it time and time again; they must know what the fuck fascism is.

They're angry that it has such a negative reputation as to result in instant social ostracization if openly embraced, so they seek to enact a "no u" style tu quoque style defense, as they do for nearly everything. They are neither willing to abandon to their fundamental principles nor, with a scarce few exceptions, brave enough to openly lay claim to them.
