WASHINGTON DC -- Republican Senator who is up for re-election, has come forward and indicated he will act moderately in order to maintain support of moderates in his state. The Republican Senator who is up for re-election stated in a message that "political expediency" dictated that he step forward and take a stand against President Trump's unconstitutional position. While the Republican Senator who is up for re-election acted in lock step with his party prior the previous election, they noted that their conscience was speaking clearly and the Constitution required that he stand out as a moderate when it was very important to him from an electoral sense.
