When rags make reports like this it's usually not fabricated, but rather that important details are omitted.

The guns were probably seized--but the reason why is being omitted.

The reason was reported, and quoted in the OP. It was due to a concealed carry violation. The problem is that it was still selective enforcement, as there were others there openly bragging about breaking gun laws. In those cases they were breaking laws regarding the type of guns and magazine they could posses, and those illegal items were not seized.

You’re assuming the reporting is accurate. The claim by Derek above is that it is not. Is there an independent confirmation of the facts in this story?

I really don't care about Derec's claim, I was responding to Loren, and his contention that the reason why the guns were seized was omitted. It clearly was not omitted, the article stated that they were seized due to illegal concealed carry.
