Zimbabwe's Mnangagwa to return as Mugabe's likely successor - BBC News
Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe's president for the last 37 years, has stepped down. Two weeks ago, he fired long-time ally Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa, wanting his wife Grace Marufu to be his successor. But then the army stepped in and forced him to step down.
At age 93, he was the oldest leader when he resigned, and certainly a very long-reigning one.
