Russia joins the rest of the world in turning against Trump: report

No surprises here, but I wonder if Russia might just release all the dirt they have on trumpo now, or soon....

Besides being laughed at by world leaders at the United Nations, and proclaiming that because of his leadership, America is “respected again” in the world, statistics show that President Donald Trump does not rank well globally among other leaders.


According to a poll from Pew Reseach, results show that Trump’s “international image remains poor.” Out of 25 countries surveyed, only 27 percent of respondents said they had confidence in Trump’s ability to “do the right thing regarding world affairs.”


Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel received 52 percent of the vote. The same survey also revealed that Trump lost support among Russians who are not as confident in his leadership.


Trump’s ranking among Russians sank from 53 percent to 19 percent. Overall, the study shows that with the 25 countries sampled, 70 percent of participants said they lack confidence in Trump.

What does the opinion of Russians (plural) matter? It's a one man, one vote system - Putin is the man, he gets the vote. As long as Putin thinks that Trump's presidency is to Russia's benefit, it's completely irrelevant what Russians other than Putin think of him.

What does the opinion of Russians (plural) matter? It's a one man, one vote system - Putin is the man, he gets the vote. As long as Putin thinks that Trump's presidency is to Russia's benefit, it's completely irrelevant what Russians other than Putin think of him.

Yeah, Putin's "support" of Trump isn't because of any sense of empathy or friendship.

I doubt it. That would just make Russia look bad. They're still officially in denial about manipulating the US election

The Russians polled were average people, not members of the Politburo. The significant drop, imo, reflects the fact that they know full-well that Trump is Putin’s puppet.

Iow, it’s as much an indictment of Putin as it is of Trump.

It's not just Trump. It's the American people. A distressingly large number of them are Putin's puppet without even knowing. Especially the so called "American patriots". Which is doubly depressing
