Sarah Palin's Paid Video Channel Kaput

I'm trying to think of someone I would give $10.00 to every month just to be able to watch them on TV and hear them talk.
I can think of a few, if they read the news naked, maybe. $5/Month for topless.

On the other hand, Sarah should have gone for a slightly different deal. If she was down in the corner of the screen, commenting on the news, I might pay $10 a month to block her transmission.

Pay me and God will forgive you.

Pay me and I'll include dick-pix. (You'll need a magnifying glass) Oh, and god will go "Meh."

Or....
Make the TV interactive.

She could travel from city to city on speaking engagements. She talks for ten minutes on any topic chosen by members of the studio audience and then they beat her for twenty minutes with a wiffle bat.

For $10 a month you can get the speeches, for $20 a month you can watch the beating. If she comes to your town, it's $50 to be in the studio, and before she comes out, they auction off wiffle bats.

Maybe. She's not cerebral enough for me. If she's not cerebral she just lays there while you scrub the rug. She'd have to take some lessons.

I saw this pathetic side bar advert today...which is another way a politico can channel PAC money back into personal income.

Yeah, give $75 to Sarah's PAC, and you will get a free copy of her new book Sweet Freedom. So then Sarah gets her cut on whatever royalty deal she worked out with the publisher (not sure how long it will remain on the PACs front page).

Makes you wonder how much money will be wasted on things like that.

Unseriously, Sarah's air time is up? Why do all the good things in my life just seem to fly away?:pigsfly:

She had a paid channel? And it was $10 a month?! Did she think she could pump enough content to be worth $10 a month?

You can see why she gave it a go. People could either get Netflix, with thousands of hours of award-winning programming, for $8/month, or you could get Channel Palin, with minutes of non-award-winning blowhardery, for only 25% more.

Importantly, there was an obvious hole in the market for political pontification, because it's not as if thousands of hours are not produced every day for free on YouTube and radio and podcasts.

Now I know why I never saw it....I don't PAY FOR TV...AND WOULD NEVER PAY FOR "PAYLIN."
