In between being outraged at the success of white female singers, Azealea Banks has enough time to throw the faggot bomb at actually gay, and presumably gay, men.
But she's no one-trick pony. She also spends her time appropriating Yoruba beliefs for commercial gain, and, according to her tweets, she can't be homophobic because
i) she's bisexual
ii) her brother is trans
iii) "all" her employees are gay men.
The first two are completely irrelevant; the third is interesting, if only because I assume she's talking about stylists, makeup artists and dancers, and you'd have to go out of your way to not have gay men in those roles. But more to the point, why is her hiring policy so sexist? She couldn't find one woman of colour as an employee?
Feministing is notably silent on her latest homophobic slurs and physical violence.
