Well, Alabama had a fun day yesterday, and there is video coverage of idiots that had the storm come very close to right over them, while in a car. Their reaction, and inability to film in landscape is disappointing.

I missed what was wrong with their reaction? Sure seems scary - dunno if they were foolish in being there or surprised by it. And I agree landscae would have been so much better!

I like watching reporters broadcasting from a deserted coastal area during a hurricane leaning into the wind and knee deep in water.

I don't know how they ended up in it but ya, recording in portrait is stupid and CNN made watching it intolerable with by adding the fuzzy side bars. It's unwatchable.
