Donnie J's comments...

just read the article. I wish these people would just get flattened by a meteoroid.

article said:
"I've been out hearing the left talking about all these things, fascism, Nazism on the right," Trump Jr. said. "And when you look at the actual history of how these things evolved, and when you actually look at that platform versus the platform of the modern left, you say wait a minute, those two are really heavily aligned and, frankly, contrary to the right."

He warned people against saying something "because someone told you that in a history class" because academia had been influenced by the left.

"You see the Nazi platform in the early 1930s and what was actually put out there ... and you look at it compared to like the DNC platform of today, and you're saying, man, those things are awfully similar, to a point where it's actually scary," Trump Jr. said.

Well sure, the people at Charlottesville waving actual Nazi flags were wearing red MAGA caps, or khakis with white polo shirts in a nod to Trump, and Trump and the rest of the conservolibertarians tried to make Nazis seem less bad with "both sides" arguments, therefore Democrats are the "real Nazis here."

[satire] Uhm, something something both sides. I saw an anti-fascist break a window. The official name of the Nazi party had the word socialist in it! [/satire]

Little Don and Pig Don. They lie all the time. Hmmm. Use racism as a polotical tool. Fan the flames of racism. Vilanize free press. Hmm...special rights for christians and white people. Government encouraging discrimination. Hmm. Reminds me of some similar goon around 1930-1945.

There are some fools on the right that have written books claiming that liberals were spawned from fascism.

Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Change Paperback – June 2, 2009 by Jonah Goldberg

The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left Hardcover – July 31, 2017
by Dinesh D'Souza (Author)

Sounds like D. Jr. has been reading bad books by noted liars.

There are superficial similarities between many parties from different times. I mean people who don't smoke can be called Nazis because german Nazis were the first who determined that smoking is bad and started the first anti-tobacco campaign. Americans ignored these findings because these were Nazis.
Defining property of Nazis is racism and nationalism, not their internal social politics which were not all bad.

The old "both sides are just as bad" argument only makes you look more reasonable if both sides actually are just as bad.

Tell you what: in Charlottesville, were those people with the actual Nazi flags wearing Democratic MAGA caps or Republican MAGA caps? Ooh, wait. The people who were there to protest the Nazis were the "real Nazis" because only Nazis would oppose Nazis, right?

So I am a nazi because I don't smoke and for Universal Heatlh Care?

Anti-fascists are just as bad because they have fascists in their name.

Little Donny get his history education at Trump University?

The unqualified royal family living in the White House probably got its education from a combination of Fox News & Friends, prep school, and 4chan. What I think is uninteresting but I need to keep repeating is the intense partisanship of the Right--to include politicians, the royal family, etc. Just imagine if one of Obama's daughters or Chelsea Clinton said Republicans are Nazis when they lived in the WH. It just wouldn't happen. Of course, we're going to hear that Democrats are just as bad and whatever...

Yeah, the talk about Donald Trump having a problem condemning the NeoNazis is fake news... meanwhile Liberals and Nazis platform is so similar, it is "scary".

Did you use "both sides" arguments to try and make the Charlottesville Nazis seem less bad?

If so, then you're a Nazi. Excuse me, person who defends Nazis. I keep forgetting that right wingers insist that we make a big deal about distinctions like that.

I just caught a few minutes of Mark Levin on Faux ranting. He was peddling the Goldberg-D'Souza Koolaide at the top of his hysterical lungs. Their propaganda that modern day Liberalism was spawned by fascism seems to be s[reading among the far right. And is being spread far and wide. Dangerous kookery.
