NEW YORK, NY - The DOW was poised to open about 0.5% higher as the DOW hasn't opened higher in a few days. The last three days, with concerns regarding the new COVID-19 variant in the UK and uncertainty with the second COVID-19 relief bill in Congress, the DOW has open either flat or lower. Therefore, today, it will open about 0.5% higher as it was "about time" for that.
