If our lifespan was 20,000 years instead of 100, you would actually have valid concern. Since there is no viable medical technology to extend our lifespan we are for the moment safe from having more people enter the workforce than leave the workforce.
That may actually change in the opposite direction when the baby boomers start retirement though. If the boomers can retire that is. Let us hope social security remains viable or they will have to work until they drop..... not something either the boomers or the children would prefer.
Just because there's nothing on the horizon that extends it to 20k years doesn't mean there's no effect.
If nothing else, consider lab-grown organs. There are a decent number of people walking around with replacement organs and some other body parts. So far it is limited to fairly simple stuff but they've already made mouse hearts that work, there's no reason to think it won't get scaled up. (Note that at least the heart technique requires starting with a real heart, but it need not be one suitable for transplant and the replacement organ carries the genetic markers of the person it's made for, anti-rejection drugs are not needed.)
