The Antifa fires

What is the procedure for Joe Rogan to take that part of the podcast out and add in a small blurb saying that he made a mistake?

The episode is still up and not annotated in any way.

Is it right or populist fascist? People like him and Trump don’t have political positions. Just presumptions and bias.

It's hard to figure Rogan's political bent. But he dosn't like Biden. He hates the democratic government of California. Loves Tulsi. He's going more and more to the hard right.

Lol Tulsi is not hard right at all. She is more left than Biden. So is Joe Rogan.

Rogan, by all measures, is liberal/left. He is pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro legalization of drugs, free college, single-payer healthcare etc etc. What could you possibly be characterizing as "far right"?

The one thing he gets unreasonably demonized for is saying that transwomen shouldn't be allowed to fight biological women in MMA. Apparently, this makes him a fascist.

She wants to run as third party to hurt the democrats. The far right loves the third parties because it helps them. Secondly, read Rogan's posts. He's said explicitly that he'd vote for Trump over Biden. He's a staunch 2nd amendment person and really is a libertarian.

What would you say is more at risk right now? The right to have an abortion, or the right to own a gun.

There never was a threat to owning a gun. That's just a right wing meme used to motivate their base. The national right to an abortion is done. The lost opportunity to balance the court was doomed when Trump won the election. It seems less likely that the SC will go after abortion rights at the state level, but we really don't know. We're going to enter a very long period of time where the supreme court will be ruled by religious right people bent on wanting to push their agenda. We're in new territory.

LOL. “The right to bear arms shall not be infringed” is ambiguous. Abortion, no where in the Constitution, is an indisputable national right.

Yeah, that bullshit argument was a reason some of the Founding Fathers feared enumerating any rights for fear of excluding any, like right to privacy, would be deemed void.

I find it funny how "right to privacy" should apply to abortion and gay sex (both of which I support btw.) but at the same time should not apply to sex work.

And yeah, not a derail really since this thread has been thoroughly derailed already.

Well, the “the right to privacy” has been around for over a century via SCOTUS. If you want, you can be the founding father of legalized prostitution via said right.

Wow. There are so many different things wrong with that post it is actually kind of impressive.

What part is wrong? You can google Rogan to see what he believes. He directly said that he'd vote for Trump over Biden. It's the right that wants the third parties to run. And Tulsi hates the "establishment" democrats and is considering running third party right now. So where am I wrong?

You're just making shit up about Tulsi. The burden of proof is on you to show that she is "considering running a third party right now". She has said, repeatedly, that she won't run on a third party ticket. Indeed, she dropped out and endorsed Biden.

As for Rogan, you are taking one claim he made out of context, where he was talking about how Biden seemed senile, and. He even said "I would vote for any of them, bring back Klobuchar, Buttigeig, ... I think it's wrong what they are doing to Biden". Which a lot of people think, because frankly, Biden isn't looking so great. He was always a gaffe factory, but he just really seems like his age is starting to wear on him. And that is a pretty common opinion, as much as the Democratic party sycophants might not like it.

And just more generally either case you are wrong, both Rogan and Tulsi are more left wing than Biden. So if you are going to claim either of them are "far right" then necessarily Biden is even further right.

The hate Tulsi gets is because she is against war, and the Democratic party loves war. Not because she is far-right. That's absurd.

Also, it's not "the right" that wants third parties to run. The "left" wants it too, note, many third parties are far left. What you are trying to claim is that it is more advantageous to the Republicans for third parties to run, but that doesn't imply that people who support third parties are on the "right", bearing in mind, again, that Tulsi is not running on a third party ticket.

It'd be hard not to. She was in Congress for what, a term or two? She got a big Brock Lesnar like push in the DNC, and then, like Lesnar, went rogue. And then we see Libertarians say they like here. Big red flag.

There are large chasms between senile and old. Biden has long been a gaffe pro-2000, speaking issue and all. But his performance up to now is still roughly 1000 times better than Trump. His Town Hall thing was much greater than Trump's on many levels.

Heck, I don't think Biden was anyone's first pick here, so to call people here sycophants is a bit ridiculous. We are dealing with the nomination the voters selected, and remarking on his capabilities which indicate he knows what in the heck is going on. Biden says 200 million Americans have died from Covid, but he doesn't follow that up to say, 'that is half of America, people'. Meanwhile, Trump says, in all seriousness, let's go "herd mentality"... where "mentality" is the gaffe and the "herd" is the dangerous ignorance that implies let's let no less than 3/4 a million Americans die from Covid-19 to reach 25% infection rates.

No, it wouldn't. She has a pretty well-established set of positions. I think you and others dislike her because she is anti-war, which is the *only* reason libertarians like her.

Yes, Biden did look better at his town hall, but at the point Rogan made these comments was a few months ago during some widely publicized interviews Biden gave where he looked really bad. The sycophantic label was directed only at those who reflexively defend Biden on this point, as if pointing to Donald Trump somehow makes this look less bad (it doesn't). It was terrible, he was trailing off and not even finishing his sentences, and looked confused. Now, maybe he just wasn't good at the zoom interview format, there are time delays, etc, but it looked like a confused old man who didn't really understand what was going on. It was sad, I don't dislike Biden, it made me feel sorry for him. If you can't even acknowledge that for most normal people these interviews looked really bad, then yes, you are a sycophant to the Democratic Party.

Now, more recently, he has looked a lot better. Especially when he is driving his whole "Scranton vs Park Avenue" schtick. His bit about being looked down on because he doesn't have an Ivy League degree is also very good. Apparently, that is actually true, that in the Obama administration he wasn't taken very seriously. In part, I am certain, because of his lack of an Ivy League pedigree.
