Here's a super interesting (I think) chat between famous art critic and gallerist Pierre d'Alancaisez and the famous contemporary classical composer Samuel Andreyev.

While their discussion is about art, it includes broader discussions about ideology and politics more broadly.

The prices and monetary value of contemporary art has, in the last 10 years plummeted. Art schools are increasingly forced to close, and the newly rich elites no longer believe that supporting the arts is a ticket into high society.

They discuss what this is a symptom of. Their alarming (I think) conclusion is the death of liberalism, the liberal paradigm and liberal values.

They don't talk about what will replace it. But I'm thinking, whatever it is, can't be good.

Its a super interesting conversation, regardless if you agree or not.

I think their arguments are pretty strong. And I think that's a shame.

Another, similar, conversation. This time between Pierre d'Alancaisez and Nicholas Gamso.

Gamso is an art critic as well. But while d'Alancaisez is a fallen liberal, critisizing liberalism from the inside, Gamso is a deep blue conservative.

Also, a super interesting conversation
