I have just finished watching this, and I wonder if anyone else has watched it? It's made up of 3 series (first aired in 2013, 2014 & 2016 respectively) of 6 episodes each. One of the reasons I enjoyed it is that it was set in my city.
My review of it would be that it was very well put together (in terms of writing, acting and direction), that it kept my interest and attention throughout, and that the acting was very good even though there were very few big name actors (although Jamie Dornan later became more famous, he wasn't at the time).
Against that I'd say its scope of interest was, ultimately, restricted, to what I might call 'psycho porn' by which I mean it seemed to me that the whole thing was driven by a morbid fascination (on the part of the writer/creator/director Alan Cubitt) with serial killers. Some might say that's not a bug, it's a feature. Fair enough, I can accept that. Maybe it's just me and my preferences. I'm not saying serial killers don't fascinate me, but I tend to have a limit as to how far I like to indulge that fascination.
Overall I'd give it 8.5/10
