President-elect Donald Trump warned that “there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East” if hostages in the region are not released by the time he takes office.

...

“Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America,” he wrote.
Harder than Germany and Japan? This asshole is an asshole and there are so many different reasons to hate him. And as a geography lesson for Trump... Iran isn't in the Middle East, though they are the keystone to a great deal of violence, particularly with Hamas and Hezbollah.

I find his rampant abuse of hyperbole is the most worst thing since the Nazis! <---- see what I did there?

What I can't most about his hyperbole is how his MAGA base is all-in on the hyperbole, and effectively empty statements. And it also has the troll-like frustration, where you aren't actually upset at what the troll is saying but upset that they are trying troll and be a jerk. Where as, Trump is being a leader with this crap, but it isn't doing a damn thing and no one cares. All the bluster with North Korea... and he signed a document he didn't understand.

But soon, it'll be hyperbole, hyperbole, hyperbole. Over and over again. Listening to politicians speak is painful to the brain, but he just takes it up several notches with the ignorant hyperbole. Can't wait for the Tariffs on Hamas threat, the largest tariffs the world has ever seen.

He has it in his head that the world fears him because they think he's a no-holds-barred kind of fellow. A genuine tough guy.
He's forgetting:
> that there's such a thing as diplomacy, which doesn't involve sitting on the other party's face
> that brinksmanship can only be tried so many times before you're boxed in to your worst alternatives
> that his audience at the UN laughed in his face as he tried his rally-style boasting at them -- unforgettable video of an American President being humiliated as a buffoon.

Sure, but the hyperbole extends far beyond diplomacy. The economy is either the worst ever or best ever by far. The job creation is at levels we've never seen before. He has the greatest replacement for ACA, which is a total disaster, etc... There is very little that Trump talks about that isn't set at 11 or -11.

So he is intimating that he will go to war in the Middle East, when many of those who voted for him claimed that he kept USA out of wars (incidentally forgetting Afghanistan), but then they believe many of his false promises and claims which is one of the reasons that they voted for him.

I dunno, maybe he's just planning to precision drone strike all the leaders? That's something he definitely has done in the past.

ETA: Well, one leader I guess.
