Reminding everyone! Set your DVRs.

Why? Is he airing the show in 2006?

It gets uploaded to YouTube, old man.

We didn't have a DVR in 2006. :D

Well, apparently you've remained a few years behind the times. :)

Dial into your AOL account and do an Alta Vista search of YouTube. There's some interesting new things in the world for you to discover. Granted, about 90% of those things are cat videos but they also have TV shows and such.

That was a pretty funny show. The Trump bit where he was eating the Oreos was the best part. It's going to take a while to get used to him not being in the character from the Colbert Report - I kept waiting for him to get into that character and it never happened.

That one part with the cursed goat's head went on about a minute too long, but otherwise they put together a great show.

I was kind of...underwhelmed.

The show really didn't deviate all that much from the standard late night talk show model. Intro, followed by monologue, bits, celebrity interviews, there's a band, a desk, an audience pumped up by a warm up comedian, etc.

And yeah, it was arguably better than Fallon or Kimmel, but it was still a by-the-numbers formula late night show.

I watched part of it and thought "Ah, yes. This is why I don't watch late night talk shows."

It was pretty okay.

You can tell he's going to have to grow into the job. That theater is so much bigger than what he had at his previous show. He looked awkward standing up and what's with the guy who plays the key-tar horn thing?

This is the kind of show that needs a few months to get adjusted to itself. Colbert's great and I hope he pulls it off.

I agree...He even commented about feeling awkward doing the stand up...He'll grow into it and it'll be great... The bit about the Oreos was great!...

It's called a pianica or a melodica. Basically a harmonica for people with less dexterous lips.
