So anyway, had to drive a lot over the weekend and was a bit bored so we listened to some Xian Radio. We caught a program about how the Shimettah (Sabbath year, every seven years) is coming and there are a huge list of events converging on Yom Kippur and they weren't saying it was the end times, but you know.

But the guest (who apparently spoke at the Capitol Bldg in front of some Congress people (likely a few dozen teabagging R's) said it was important to keep things in perspective and not get too scared.

The host was nice enough to bring up Jade Helm 15. The guest noted some think it is a massive conspiracy, others think it is no big deal and just a military drill. "I sit somewhere in between." Yeah! I'll take passive aggressive vagueness for $400 Alex.

And there is a comet that NASA isn't telling us about, but that probably isn't a big deal because if a comet hit earth, then the whole rapture thing can't happen. *phew* Bet you were worried! But you can put the worries aside because there isn't enough time between now and the death of life on Earth to have the rapture, therefore we're good.

So among the other main issues, the UN will likely have a plan submitted by France for an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, the Iran Nuclear deal, and of course the biggest issue which will lead to war (because we pissed off god), SCOTUS decision on gay marriage. The guy literally equated it to apostasy.

So what to take from all this, war is very likely, who knows maybe even the rapture, but don't get too scared and don't tell people that the rapture is happening because when it doesn't you'll make your faith look stupid. Oh and can you give us $200 to help continue to run our radio station.

So does he think that Jade Helm is a massive military drill; or that it is no big deal, and just a conspiracy? I am struggling to think of other ways to "sit somewhere in between" 'sane' and 'not sane' on this topic.

I love it when people are keen to endorse craziness, but without wanting to take any ownership of it. Maybe it's a fact-finding mission.

Kinda like when a woman says she's going to take a shower and you ask if she needs help? If she says yes, you get up and help her. If she says no, you were 'just joking.'

It's a drill unless and until they find that they really are well positioned to take over. If the early results are good, maybe there's a General Order 2015 that can be issued, if they take everyone by surprise.
