If the argument is that a dupplicate of Jesus is Jesus for all intent and purposes (once the original is dead), nothing is changed as far as the Christian message is concerned.

No, I don't believe so.

Is Jesus resurrecting the same problem?

I don't think so. The message of Christianity is centered around the notion that we have a soul which goes on fine in the absence of our bodies being alive and that soul is the real "us". Jesus's soul took off for a long weekend and did things for those three days and then popped back into the body.

That's very different than a person ending and then restarting as the term resurrection means in the context of this thread.
