Is there some reason you are ignoring what actually led up to the coalition taking the Saddam regime out? He was taking control of the middle east oil fields. He had invaded Kuwait, claiming their oil fields and was preparing to invade Saudi Arabia to take control of their oil fields. All this was a decade before 9/11 so the attack on the World Trade Center could hardly have been used as an excuse for the invasion of Iraq.If those aliens were intent on invading, wouldn't they have done so by now? I say that because if current UFO sightings are explained by aliens, then historical ones should be too.
The more technologically advanced we become, the harder it would be to do so: they should have done it thousands of years ago when all we could fight them off with was sharp sticks and flints.
As for 911, the middle east has long been a kind of chessboard between USSR/Russia and the US. It's entirely possible that Saddam was considering throwing in his lot with Russia, and thus the US decided he needed to go, and thus an excuse to do so was prepared that would be somewhat more palatable to the rest of the world than simply going in and doing it unannounced. Well, nice cuddly countries don't do that sort of thing, do they?
Or we could believe it was something that was not known to be happening until the last minute, and the US decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
