There's unflappable, and then there's this

Neat. I like the kinda positions in sports not many want to talk about, like the goal keeping in soccer/football, or catcher in baseball. Nice, easygoing catch there, almost pissed it so I had to replay, which I also like. :)

Indeed. That was fun to watch. As someone who got hit in the forehead with a thrown bat as a child, I can appreciate how fast that happens!

Well, you play baseball, you need to have cat like reflexes. That is why I don't play baseball.

I've always been too much of a daydreamer. You can only pad and protect so much and still be mobile. Someone's gotta stay home and watch the game on tv.
As a kid I played sports, because everyone else was. It was either that or go home. I recall pitching once. How I ended up it that position is a mystery in itself. Anyways, I threw the ball. Let my mind wander elsewhere because I really don't want to be doing this. Batter hits the ball. Liner at my throat. Self-preservation kicked in. I went home and read my Hardy Boys book.
Don't even get me started on basketball. What a spectacle.

The fact that he'd didn't even flinch or move his other arm off the railing is more amazing than the catch itself.

No wasted motion whatsoever. And all of the other guys are ducking for cover. What's even funnier is that this guy hasn't even made the team yet.
