Transracial Woman Under Fire in Spokane

Well, sure if you define "Black" by having Black ancestors and stuff. But if it's based on what you feel inside none of this is necessarily relevant.

So, it sounds like from what you are saying, that this guy IS really a dog?

Like many other dogs, Boomer loves nothing more than roaming his neighborhood, barking at passing cars and fellow canines before returning home for a bowl of biscuits and a nap in his kennel.

The only difference is that Boomer was born a human.

Gary Matthews, 47, has been living the life of a playful pooch for years - donning a white-and-grey costume made from paper with an over-sized collar proudly displaying his new name.

I guess you are right. We have officially left the Age of Reason and are in transition into the Age of Feelings.

I miss the old days.

I want you to be absolutely clear that this is what I did NOT say:

"Having an Afro father is IMPOSSIBLE."

I have been abundantly clear on the intermediacy of possibilities. I said, "Not impossible, but unlikely."
Unlikely - based on a very narrow opinion. You also insinuated that Reece's mother was lying about paternity, which I bolded. Both of these statements tell me that although you speak very scientifically about race, you have no idea what you're going on about.

You gave a long list of mixed race celebrities, as though I believed mixed race people do not exist.
No, I posted the list of celebrities because your original statement said that half-black people always have blended skin tones. This is a falsehood.

Maybe this is getting too personal, but I do not mean to offend. If people suspect that you are not the biological mother of your true biological child, it probably should NOT be taken as a social problem that must be fixed. Do not take offense at reasonable intermediate probability judgments. Do not demand that people think unreasonably.
I made no such demands. In fact, I stated that I taught my oldest son not to take offense and to be polite about it.

I posted my own experience and the pictures of the twins because you implied Gabrielle Reece looks too white to have a black father.
This skepticism has no basis in reality. Google works wonders.

You posted twins. When we are discussing twins and genetics, please lets be clear on the two fundamental types of twins: (1) dizygotic twins and (2) monozygotic twins. Dizygotic twins share as much of their genomes with each other as any typical sibling pair: 50%.
I mean no offense - but you have a way of trying to break down concepts as if no one here knows the scientific meaning or methodology behind anything. We are all on a rationalist board, after all. Twins...I was a twin. My mother is a twin. Her mother is a twin. So I am fully aware of how twins are formed.

Here is my point:

You mentioned "outliers." Racial outliers are only outliers because the modern age hasn't yet caught up enough to disprove a lot of societal nonsense - such as "it is unlikely for a mixed child not to have blended skin." Eyeballing it tells you nothing. So you have no scientific basis to assume this. It's totally assumption dressed up with fancy words.
