Treason...? Really?

Nothing says "I'm a good person" better than a nice display of virtue signalling I guess. It's all rather twee.

You can't acknowledge someone's existence publicly without producing some kind of signal. You have made an impossible standard, if one is not to run afoul of "TSwizzle's arbitrary rules of social interaction": either say nothing and sweep an entire walk of life under the rug as if they don't exist (because any kind of public acknowledgement of their existence is "unacceptable virtue signalling", so sayeth TSwizzle), or... *Crickets*.
So go fuck off with that "virtue signalling" garbage. It's not virtue signaling, it's just "being a good person".

I never said it was unacceptable. I view these displays as as cynical virtue signalling by insincere people. And that goes for the MIA/POW flags too.

After Bilby lands a haymaker. Figures.

And I repeat: then when aren't they? Normal people with a normal grasp on ethics don't do things like that out cynicism. It takes a truely soulless fuck to do that and such soulless fucks are generally quite visible on the basis of what else they do, (like arguing in bad faith).

You need to take a good long look inside and ask yourself "do I view this as cynicism because if I did it, it would be cynical?"
