So, apparently, a "parody" video was made taking from Kingsmen: Secret Service and showing Trump annihilating the media and political opponents. When I first heard about this, I thought it was a joke... as in an over-the-top hyperbole of Trump's comments on the media. I didn't realize it was created by a Pro-Trump person and played at a conference for Trump supporters. At which point, this definitely has crossed the threshold of "parody" and entered the designation of Trump Rage Porn.
American Priority who organized the event noted to the NY Times that the video was part of a "meme exhibit". Then when the NY Times published and people really thought this stuff was awful, American Priority released a statement, I loosely paraphrase: "We didn't sanction the video, and it was shown in a 'side room' so that totally gets us off the hook. The NY Times is evil for not discussing the good things at our conference." So the video was part of an "exhibit" at their event until people got upset... and now it was unauthorized and shown in a closet near the bathroom and only seen by the janitor.
The person who created the video indicated that it was "clearly satirical"... furthering evidence that the right-wing both don't understand what humor or satire is.
It is so distasteful, the White House has walked away from the video, and indicated that Trump hasn't viewed the video, but will do so shortly. Of course, one would need to ask... why does he need to see it at all?

Well sure, I can agree that the video doesn't incite people to murder the press and Democrats. But that doesn't mean it wasn't tasteless, disturbing, and utterly unendorseable... which it was endorsed when shown at the event, in the "meme exhibit".Carpe Donktum said:No reasonable person would believe that this video was a call to action, or an endorsement of violence towards the media.
