Trump has seen his second big league loss regarding tax returns which he refuses to hand over. The DC Court of Appeals told Trump and his lawyer to piss off regarding getting an En Banc review of the already decided 2-1 loss over Congress getting his tax returns. They stayed the decision, however, for one week, which means he and Jay Sekulow have one week to appeal to SCOTUS.
The appeal to SCOTUS can go just about anywhere, though could potentially harm him the most if SCOTUS rules closer to the Election. Honestly, if SCOTUS wanted to play politics, they could send it back and say the DC Circuit has to go the En Banc route. That would provide Trump the most cover. But then there is the case in NY, where two third parties are looking at release of his tax returns. Trump sued there... and lost. And wants that too to go to SCOTUS. SCOTUS, if wise would argue that Trump doesn't have standing, after pausing that too by several months to give Trump cover.
Isn't it wonderful... talking about SCOTUS covering Trump's ass.
