Trump should just shut up and listen to the Democrat judges and start paying SNAP

that people in the US are living in the matrx
President Trump has been ordered by the judiciary to begin making SNAP payments on November 5 despite the absence of a congressional authorization. Some say this is rule by judges. But US democracy is so dysfunctional it must be replaced by an autocrat who can keep the government functioning. This is the end fate of all democracies, and America has now reached this point.

If I were Trump I would just make a bold statement about how compassionate I was with the poor and what a dirt bag Schumer is. And then start taking over SNAP payments to allow a smooth transaction from a dysfunctional democracy riven with faction and hate into a well functioning autocracy free of special interest control of a corrupt legislature..

Democrats have given Trump the perfect opportunity to look good if he will only be smart enough to take it.

Trump, smart? Ha Ha. The people who would actually do the task, if required and if he consented, have probably been fired, so not available to do the job.
QUOTE: "a well functioning autocracy free of special interest control of a corrupt legislature." This is not the joke thread, so why are you telling this joke here? "Well functioning autocracy" - what a laugh. "Free of special interest control of a corrupt legislature" - you have the people rolling in the aisle with your humour. That corrupt legislature is Republican, and the special interests are those of Trump and his mates.

Also, "US democracy is so dysfunctional" because of that autocrat. That cause can't be the solution, but removal of that cause is the start of a solution.

It’s cute you think Trump is immune to special interest.

But I agree with you that Trump should just shut up.

Oh, imagine that, I never would have guessed to see this showing so early in a thread defending autocracy, defending said thread and autocracy in general.

/S

I am not defending anything. I merely pointing out counterexamples, so that you have a wider view.
I would add China to the list of well functioning autocracies. South Korea have been an autocracy for the most part of its modern history too. There is a list of shitty run democracies too. I am all for democracy, but I can't ignore inconvenient facts.

Asking Trump to be smart and stop bring petty and cruel?

You have a better chance getting a blowjob from a unicorn.

Well, presumably there could be some smart people in his administration, they could manipulate the Orange into doing smart thing for their own sake.

So the guy that's been saying Trump is not a fascist autocrat and not doing coups has all along been anti-democracy and pro-autocracy because "this is the end fate of all democracies." WOW, I'm shocked!

Doing coups is the job description of US president, Trump just did not know it was supposed to be in other countries.

I actually think he is. More so than the average politician in congress anyway.

The tell to knowing is this. Do these politicians leave office with about the same net worth as before they were elected?

In Trumps case he had more net worth on his election day then the day he lost to Biden. Contrast that to to the likes of the Clintons or Mitch McConnels, et all, who spang up massive net worths while in office; this becomes perfectly clear who is least immune to special interests.

As incredible as it seems, even with all Trump's crypto corruption he still fares better being immune to special interest than his peer competitors in congress IMO.

Trump’s net worth now is the highest it has ever been. It increased from over $4 billion in 2024 to over $7 billion in 2025. Wanna rethink your position?

And he just pardoned a major player in his crypto business, who he claims he doesn’t know.

Maybe the judge should order congress to pass a budget.
That would require coming back into session, and voting on whether to release the Epstein files.
Then the judge should order them to come back into session.

I know all about the showdown between Speaker Johnson and Representative Massie. I posted about it a month ago in the Epstein thread.

That is a misleading way to word what has happened. By starting with Trump you make it sound like there is an axe to grind against him. It's just his administration, specifically the USDA. Next, calling this the "absence of a congressional authorization" is false. The funds used are from a contingency reserve that was already authorized and appropriated by Congress for the exact purpose of ensuring benefits continue during a lapse in funding. The court simply enforced the legal requirement to use those already-authorized funds.

You are explaining this to him as if his right wing media echo chambers have been withholding these relevant facts from him... Oh... right.
