Trump supporter who gave $2.5m to fight election fraud wants money back

Yes, it's the Grauniad. But it's also a total microcosm of the Trump administration.

Businessman Fredric Eshelman sues pro-Trump ‘election ethics’ group citing ‘disappointing results’ of effort to expose cheating

the True the Vote statement did not detail any of the proof it claimed it had to support the allegations of election fraud.

Eshelman, the former chief executive of a pharmaceutical company, claims in his lawsuit that the non-profit offered to refund him $1m if he would drop his plan to sue the group. He is seeking the return of the full $2.5m that he says he wired on Engelbrecht’s instructions in chunks of $2m and $500,000 on 5 and 13 November.

AI guess he succeeded in exposing fraud. But allowing oneself to be defrauded seems like that hard way to do it!
:hysterical:

Good and funny. Imagine having disposable income to the extent that you can indulge your conspiracy theories like that. BTW, Eshelman is an investment co. CEO and works mainly with private health care companies. No surprise that the world's most expensive health care (America's) has a ton of gravy to spread around.
It reminds me of the heyday of the televangelists, 1987, when Oral Roberts told the faithful that God would take him home (otherwise called murder) if he didn't raise $8 million, and a dog track owner helped him reach his goal with a $1.3 million love offering.

Wow! [insert wowishest emoticons]. Does this lay to rest the claim that top CEOs "deserve" their high pay, that it's the natural return to their high intelligence, firm and objective awareness, and strong common-sense?

Almost a million of Eshelman's money has gone into Giuliani's pocket, IIUC, and I suppose other members of the Trump crime family are also taking a big cut. They're probably hoping for another Epstein-type to appear to help them spend this lucre at "parties." Should they offer Eshelman a freebie?

Ya, he's not getting that money back.
I'll be curious to find out if this can go far enough for discovery. Potential fraud in a organization designed to find the election fraud?! OMG. Never saw that swing coming.

This is hilarious. Of course it proves the old adage that a fool and their money is easily parted.

Maybe the guy will sue for fraud. Sidney Powell is looking for work.

"Help, Leopards Ate My Face!"

In a move that surprises nobody, a man has decided to be chummy with leopards. Unsurprisingly, they ate his face, and also unsurprisingly, he has thrown a tantrum over the fact that now, he has no face.

Of course, he's blaming the leopards.
