So anyway, don't give a fuck if Melania was illegal at some point. What apparently is the problem isn't about Melania, but that Trump's modeling agency was getting Visas for foreign models to work in the US. Trump's company promised x salary. Paid them much less than x. This is against the law, as it undercuts American workers.

The hypocrisy is telling, that Trump would import foreign models in order to pay them less than American models... and then bitch about people (including himself?) that sent jobs overseas.

The agency is currently battling a proposed class action lawsuit filed by Jamaican model Alexia Palmer, who was brought to the country with an H-1B visa.

The suit alleges that the agency recruits foreign models with promises of wages that never materialize and defrauds the U.S. government on visa applications. Palmer is currently the only plaintiff and the suit has not yet been approved as a class-action.


In her case, Palmer says she was paid only a few thousand dollars over three years despite being lured with the promise of more than $200,000 in earnings in that same time period.

This has legal and campaign issues for Trump.

Well, in Trump's mind it's pretty obvious that there are americans and there are americans. An American is someone who gives someone a job and an American is someone who takes that job and keeps their mouth shut while they all live the American dream. Everything else is just filler and bullshit.
