Israel can’t wait two weeks! It is pushing the U.S. to act now!

Perhaps a hopeful note is that JD (Hillbilly Elitist) Vance reportedly pushed back, accusing Israel of trying to drag the U.S. into a war, which of course is exactly what Israel is doing.

Trump is transactional. Getting involved means saying goodbye to his pipe dream of a Nobel Peace Prize. So what can Israel deliver that Trump would personally value?

I think it’s not what Israel can deliver but what Iran deliver: flattery. See my posts above. They should flatter the shit out of Trump and he’ll be singing their praises.

About 17 hours ago, an aircraft (or flight of aircraft) departed Whiteman AFB in Missouri, and was/were immediately refulled by a KC-135, before heading west accompanied by further mid-air refulling assets. That the aircraft was not identifiable via ADS-B or countable on primary radar suggests that it was a flight of B2s.

This could, of course, be a repositioning of B2 bombers to Diego Garcia, which is equipped to host that aircraft. But the immediate refueling after take off suggests a full bomb load (the plane cannot take off with both a full munitions load and full fuel tanks), which would be unusual for a repositioning flight.

Flight time to Iran would be about 30 hours, so I guess we will know in about twelve or thirteen hours, plus however long the reporters take to file a story from Iran.

Certainly the plane-spotters and conspiracy theorists are very keen on the idea that this is a direct strike by the US against Iran.

My feeling is that it is more likely to be moving assets to Diego Garcia, preparatory to an attack if one is ordered when Trump makes his decision in "up to two weeks". Diego Garcia isn't plagued by plane-spotters who post details of every flight on social media, so from an OpSec perspective, it's a far superior base than Whiteman, even before considering the shorter flight time to Iran.

Things always go so well when we start bombing middle-east countries. Is the Iranian leadership appropriately shocked and awed?

The U.S. has illegally and unconstitutionally attacked Iran.

That is the official end of constitutional government in the U.S..

Trump says so. Is there independent verification?
Yeah, lots. I read until I was ready to puke

Poor President Bonespurs. He might not ever get that Nobel Peace Prize.

Unless he bombs Sweden...
