Trying to remember old movie

I'm sure most of us can remember a scene from some movie, but not what it was from.

I remember this one scene where a guy, think he was a movie producer, is ranting about the people working for him. He grabs one by the lapels, but his assistant warns him "He's union!" and the producer immediately lets go and tries to put on a pleasant smile. Think the film was from the 60's, early 70's at latest.
This sound familiar to anyone?

No idea, but I sympathize with your plight. Last week I spent a solid thirty minutes of my drive into work trying and failing to remember the name of the film Kaili Blues, it of a truly fantastical 40 min long take shot wandering through the Chinese countryside, which I'd watched just a few years ago. The scene I could remember with absolute clarity, but the actors, title, plot, director? Nothing.

I don't know what the story was. I only saw a little of it while flipping channels I think, but that bit stood out to me.

naa, this was something I saw like a decade ago. I just want to know for that one scene, showing what it was like for some unions
