WASHINGTON DC -- The latest scandal embroiling the White House has entered Day Three and President Trump continues to deny the charges that have been levied upon him by Congressional Democrats.
The Washington Post is now reporting that the Democrats have a tape recording of the President making demands of Nancy Pelosi. The Democrats alleged on Wednesday that President Trump contacted the Speaker of the House and indicated in "no uncertain terms" that unless the Democrats dropped the impeachment against him, he would refuse to pardon the Thanksgiving Turkey.
"Let me make this as clear as I can," the tape allegedly has the President stating. "This is a Quid Pro Quo!"
Additional footage allegedly includes The Speaker of House asking "Is this a joke?"
Lawyers for the turkey, Sire Googledegokk, have filed an injunction with the DC Circuit Court and hope to get a hearing in order to stay the execution.
