The actress who played on the show King Of Quenns was born into Scientology and did a show on A&E Scientology The Aftermath.
Someone from JW asked her to do a similar series on JW.. Watched episode `1 last night. People from the UK not just USA.

Severe harsh social enforcement of conformity. One woman was seen in public by church embers holding hands with an outsider. Her fatter immediately decided to leave the area. She pushed back and he ordered her to leave the house the next day. Similar home expulsions happen to minors. Kicked out on the street.

Vey ugly.

Don't forget that they also murder children who need blood transfusions.

Back when I still used Facebook (hissing noises ensue), I saw a lot of ads from Scientology trying to defame that actress for making The Aftermath.

It seems the Scientology people are not familiar with the  Streisand effect (which is just the new name for something the Enlightenment intellectuals knew about.).

It is more serious than that. They have a kind of office of theological conformity that like the rcc roots out dissent and maliciously goes after detractors, especially ex-members. .

I'll have to check that out. Back in the day I knew a couple guys who wrote for some TV shows. They both remarked on how Scientology has an out sized presence in Hollywood. And was pure evil. I wasn't particularly a fan of Leah Remini, but the Scientology series was really, really good.
