WASHINGTON DC -- It has been two days since President Trump walked out onto the lawn of the White House, dropped his pants, and excreted solid waste, and while the mess has since been cleaned up, little seems to have come in the way of consequences.
The press immediately flocked to the White House Press, Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, for an explanation.
"It is a metaphor of the swamp he is trying to clean up," noted Sanders. "You (the press) are again reading too far into what happened to expand your negative narrative of the President."
When a reporter noted that "Trump just took a shit on the fucking lawn of the White House", Sanders replied, "Sometimes I feel like I want to as well."
Shortly thereafter, rumors began circulating that Cabinet members in the Trump Administration were alarmed by what had happened and were considering resigning, however, no resignations have occurred, nor has anyone made their self available to be interviewed.
The response from Republicans in Congress has also been tepid, if at all. While Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer noted that this observed behavior is "extremely abnormal" and Trump doesn't seem "well", the Republicans have hardly spoken of the incident. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan noted that "There is a time and place for this sort of thing, but he wouldn't comment or judge the actions until he hears more details."
