A lot of the members were complaining that they did not know why they were being let go, and were being labeled “security risks” shortly before they were expecting to receive citizenship papers.

Conservatives and libertarians lie when they say they are in favor of legal immigration and are only against illegal immigration, because if that were true, they would be screaming bloody murder right now whenever things like this happen. It was never about the legality of immigration, but about racism and xenophobia. They hate America because America is an immigrant nation.

Conservatives and libertarians also lie when they talk about how much they support the troops, which they did most recently in discussions about NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. If they actually gave a shit about the troops, veterans, and/or patriotism, they would be screaming bloody murder about things like this when they happen. They aren't because they don't actually give a shit about the troops, veterans, nor America.

Just wait a page or two for the inevitable tirade against something completely unrelated to the OP that is supposed to make us think the OP isn't valid.

Edit: just like "States Rights" arguments are totally about state power rather than ending federal enforcement of laws that are universally applicable (protections from discrimination/of neutrality/environmental destruction), and not a smokescreen to allow enable some shitty localities to engage in the same shittiness they got away with before we understood they were bad.

For the record, if you try to make this about "states rights" instead of actually talking about why the specific OP issue is or isn't hypocritical, then you missed the point and are off topic; this individual post was to extrapolate the trend, not to redirect conversation, and attempting to use it for the latter is an attempt at intellectual dishonesty.

Libertarians are for very open immigration. If you are going to criticize libertarianism perhaps you should learn what it is.
