They Rode the Flying Saucers is a documentary in the works about the UFO contactees of the 1950's, people who claimed that they had had close encounters of the friendly kind with extraterrestrial visitors. Visitors that came from societies much like Star Trek's United Federation of Planets, though a decade before Star Trek went on the air.
