UK seeks to ban "political"wing of Hezbollah

No political parties should be ever be banned.

If this fascist party can be banned ...

... then why not this one?

Hezbollah has been in recent years quite bold holding their rallies in the middle of London. No more I guess, and that's a good thing!

Maybe England shouldn't have destroyed Iranian democracy so it could control oil.

It is reaping what it sowed.

And calling a political pary a military command does not make them not a political party.
Normal political parties are not funded and armed by foreign powers (Iran). They do not participate in civil wars in neighboring countries (Syria). They do not wage jihad against another neighboring country (Israel). They do not engage in terrorist attacks in other countries (eg Bulgaria and Argentina).

Please try to focus. Conflating the wings of Hezbollah is like conflating the different agencies of the federal government with the ruling party. This is not an endorsement of Hezbollah in any fashion.

BTW, political parties in the US do get funding from foreign powers via indirect means. And when they get power, they do engage in terrorist attacks in other countries, but since we are the "good guys", we don't call them terrorist attacks.

Not the same at all. It's like conflating the NSDAP with the Schutzstaffeln and the Sturmabteilung (pre night of long knives). The terrorist wing of Hezbollah is not separable from the so-called "political wing". If you don't believe me, believe Hezbollah itself.
Hezbollah Spokesman: “Everyone Knows Hezbollah’s Political and Military Wings Are the Same”
Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Naim Qassem said:
We don’t have a military wing and a political one; we don’t have Hezbollah on one hand and the resistance party on the other…Every element of Hezbollah, from commanders to members as well as our various capabilities, are in the service of the resistance, and we have nothing but the resistance as a priority.

This is not an endorsement of Hezbollah in any fashion.
Sounds an awful lot like it.

They also get missiles and other arms from foreign powers?

And when they get power, they do engage in terrorist attacks in other countries, but since we are the "good guys", we don't call them terrorist attacks.
Not this shit again!

These people should never have been invited into the UK in large enough numbers to have political clout.

Rivers of Blood indeed.

I didn't say it was the same. I said it was "like" which can mean analogous.

All it says is that the two are part of the same resistance, not that they are the same.

Sounds an awful lot like it.
Not to anyone who can think clearly. One does have to like something to describe it.
