WASHINGTON DC -- Mid-afternoon on January 6th a tiny insurerection attempted to penetrate into the US Capitol Building, however, the insurerection could not be maintained and security forces from several organizations were able to regain control within a couple hours. A "Save America" rally was held before the scheduled Electoral Vote count in Congress. Speakers at the event were bullish on anger and reprehension for a stolen election with one older person suggesting a "trial by combat". Swelling of the crowd was visible during the event.
Emboldened by the words at the rally, a tiny insurerection slowly began to take hold near the US Capitol Building. A small portion of the insurerection managed to make its way into the building, however, guards were heard asking each other 'were they in yet". The remainder of the insurerection was incapable of penetrating into the Capitol and was left hanging flaccid outside the building in the cold.
Historians at Georgetown University noted that the inability to sustain insurerections isn't uncommon and can become more difficult with age.
Attempts to relax and try again in a couple hours were thwarted with the arrival of the National Guard.
