Wikileaks has released Vault 7, and it seems to throw doubt on allegations that the russians hacked the DNC.

Vault 7: The Russian Hacking story is over

No convincing evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election through the Wikileak releases will ever exist

All the information to the contrary released by the government to date or in the future will never be acceptable as evidence or definitive of the truth. Why? Anything that looks like Russia might well be the CIA.

If Russia had any role in hacking the DNC or John Podesta, we will never know. The CIA intentionally uses Russian malware and disguises their tracks to look like Russians. So, the government has no credibility to debunk Wikileaks’ assertion that a DNC insider leaked Podesta’s email.
Here is the link to the article on how to hide your tracks and look like the Russians. In these instructions for hiding your origins, we read “DO NOT leave dates/times such as compile timestamps, linker timestamps, build times, access times, etc. that correlate to general US core working hours (i.e. 8am-6pm Eastern time).” More of those in that same link.

Why would the CIA throw the US election only to complain about the result?

Wikileaks dances to Moscow's tune these days.
And CIA dances to what? Anybody knows?

They planted the evidence to make it look like russians in order to minimize the damage from real leak which had nothing to do with Russia.

How did they know about the "real leak" before it happened?

Why do you think it was before? And they could be "pre-planting" "russian" hackers everywhere just in case. They have a budget. They could be hacking DNC for their own purposes. Former CIA people could be doing it too. And the fact that it looked like russians means that it was made to look like that. The fact is, if CIA (and FSB for that matter) wanted they could frame anyone, and that poor bastard will go to prison for the rest of his life.

Well, that is quite imaginative of you. Reading Tom Clancy again?

I think we would be naive if we thought that Russia and the US are not constantly seeking ways to hack each other. The Trump link doesn't have any substance behind it.
I would be surprised, only if the CIA didn't attempt to hack the Democrats, Republicans and other political organisations.

RIP Michael Hastings
Here I was expecting that an article would go into showing explicit information indicating the CIA was involved in his death, that there were documents about surveillance and spying on Hastings. Nothing, just the obvious stuff we'd expect the CIA to research in hacking.

How many car accidents can be said to have been hackings?

no, just news about "russian" hackers in Poland which turned out to be fake russians.

If you stepped outside your bubble, you'd see that the Trump spin onto Russia was peculiar. Since being elected he has said some crazy things about it as well, "We're not killers?" Add this to the unprecedented Intelligence community reaction, and a picture forms of something unique happening. It is a bunch like 9/11 and the unprecedented intelligence spikes prior to the attack, back when the operation kept getting called off.

You want to say Russia has nothing to do with this. Your argument pretty much says the US is lying about the hack to cover another hack, which is conspiracy theory talk void of evidence (something you seem to be expecting from everyone but yourself).

It's you who is in a bubble. US intelligence critters have been lying constantly throughout their history. James Clapper lying to the congress. Lying about WMD, lying about torture. Then all of a sudden they stop lying about Russia, this is what I would call peculiar.

As with any complicated situation, this entire situation reeks of various influences.

Russia is clearly involved with Trump. All you have to do is look at the administration and their actual behavior: rolling over with respect to Crimea, their Exxon politics, and Trump's glowing opinions of Putin, among other things. It doesn't take a CIA operative to see that's going on.

The CIA clearly didn't want Hillary to win, regardless of what Russia did or did not do with regards to the election. Just look at the timing of their statements and involvement in the propaganda about the email server. Again, this takes no great leaps of speculation to see clearly; for whatever reason (and the reasons here are immaterial) the CIA was pulling for Trump.

This debate about who benefits from election time is a debate about mere trivia. The problem here is that the CIA put or retained backdoors into all your shit, and can arbitrarily decide that they want to jail you or make you dead just because you disagree with them and that now that these tools are in the wild, anyone else can, too.

This means there are severalthings any responsible citizen should be doing, and if they aren't doing them, they are betraying your and their own interests: demanding an end to the CIA and NSA and demanding to replace those organizations with ones that don't hold secrets and exist with the exclusive charter to find and secure American information systems and technology against external threats, and to make public all secrets held by foreign powers, and, demands that laws change such that no American technology company need comply at any time with any request to open backdoors into their software and that they must respond in a timely manner to all revelations of existing back doors or zero day exploits. Period. That is the exact set of responsibilities that this massive cluster fuck has placed on all of you... And you had these responsibilities before this revelation, too.

Why would any disinterested and rational person think this release casts doubt on the allegations about Russian involvement in the Presidential campaign?
