Ditto. I'm still mourning the demise of BIX (Byte Information Exchange).

I think that the biggest of the 2018 deaths has to be the Windows Phone. It is yet another defeat for Microsoft. Its Surface continues to compete with iOS and Android tablets, and its Xbox line continues to be a respectable competitor, but it has yet to create any more near-monopolies.

What's funny is that Google Android was created to compete with Windows Phone, not the iPhone as people imagine.
