Was Paul a genius when it came to organizational concepts of the church?

I have been watching a few videos about some of the books of the bible attributed to him

He strikes me as very keen and persuasive. Despite being an atheist, I have to give him some begrudging respect.

Also, it seems that the current church really relies on using his concepts of talking about the church and how it should be run to pad out their sermon run times, partially to distract from the theological weakness of the Christ sacrifice story.

I thought Paul's central message was...We preach Christ crucified.
(See 1 Corinthians 1:23 Galatians 2:20 Galatians 3:1 Hebrews 12:2)

There is no theological weakness in Pauls telling of Christ's sacrifice.

Philippians 2:8
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-- even death on a cross!
