AN ACT Relating to establishing firearms-related safety measures
1 to increase public safety by prohibiting the manufacture,
2 importation, distribution, selling, and offering for sale of large
3 capacity magazines, and by providing limited exemptions applicable to
4 licensed firearms manufacturers and dealers for purposes of sale to
5 armed forces branches and law enforcement agencies for purposes of
6 sale or transfer outside the state; amending RCW 9.41.010; adding new
7 sections to chapter 9.41 RCW; creating a new section; prescribing
8 penalties; and providing an effective date

Gun violence in the Seattle area is out of control. There have been 3 shootings around the Walgreens I go to for meds at 3rd and Pike. I can't go anywhere around where i live where there hasn't been a nearby shooting over the last 2 yeras.

Just before the pandemic bystanders were shot when two gang members started shooting at each other with automatc weapons. It was near 3rd ave and Benaroya Hall.

The problem is such restrictions are not going to reduce the violence, it is political had waving. Violence is up so appear to be doing something about it.

The pro gun cliche was 'If you ban guns only criminals will have guns'.

We can't keep drugs out of public schools, we are not going to curb guns.

Limit the mag to 0 rounds, so just carry extra magazines.

It used to be police carried 6 shot .38 revolvers.
