Ah, it wasn't just you though, so was wondering.

On the video, if he's going to invoke a miracle to mutate them to "fully human," why not just go for special creation? Such a weak miracle.

Because he has to fit it all in with modern science. He cannot accept young Earth creationism, which in this video he claims in no uncertain terms. He wants a miracle that seems possible. This is what he came up with. It will not convince the fundamentalists or the skeptics. I find this rather funny. The real question is can he sell this to more than a few Christians?
