We can defeat Trump -- if we defeat these 3 dumb ideas first

They are dumbasses. They voted for a loser.

Analysis of Trump's economics ideas demonstrates sober economist tell us Trump's economic plans will create $10 trillion more in deficits over a decade. Vote Trump - a loser and crackpot.

Trump will win and I'm glad.

If you like Bernie, look at Venezuela and you will see what would happen if that idiot is elected.

If you want to see ignorance read the above post.

Look at Germany if you want to see what Bernie proposes.

Look at other European nations where tax payers get something for their taxes beyond crumbling schools and roads and endless war.

Like Greece?

Like Germany. That is Bernie's goal.

What is wrong with it?

What does Venezuela have to do with anything? Never mind, I already know the answer. You think Venezuela style socialism and Bernie espoused democratic socialism is the same thing. It's not. You being a Trump voter, means you are VERY likely to be what Republicans lovingly call a "low information voter". So I'm not surprised you conflate the these two very different ideas.

Why don't you just move to Germany? I like Trump and that's who I'm voting for.

So, you are not going to check out what sober economists tell us Trump's economic proposals will do to wreck America with massive deficits? That's what you want, or is it you don't really know what he has proposed? Yes, Trump will give you "Greece". Economic disaster. Massive deficits. A sea of red ink as far as the eye can see. Is that the sort of economic disaster you like? Read the articles I linked to and then think about it. You may end up changing your mind about Trump.

I can't give you intelligence, only advise.

Trump is nothing but a cheap salesman only interested in Trump.

A vote for him is just saying "I am easily fooled by bullshit".

Not to mention an endorsement of racism...

That is such bullshit.

Usually, adults have reasons for believing the things that they do. If they are intelligent adults, they can produce evidence to support those reasons. Also, they are able to communicate those reasons and discuss them with other adults who have different beliefs.

It's only children who think that "NUH-UH!" is a convincing argument.

Do you have actual reasons to believe the things you do? Or do you really think that sulking in the corner and muttering, "No, no, no" is a productive way to convince others that you are correct?

Thoughtful, sophisticated political analysis like this is what this forum has been so sorely lacking. There is true beauty in a succinct observation that truly captures the spirit of the discussion and the issues within.

I'm gonna try. Don't make fun of me. Okay, here I go:

Trump 2016! and you're a fulla shit commie if you vote for anyone else. And fuck you!

How'd I do?

How so? Even giving MAXIMUM charity in regards to Trump's rhetoric (which I don't) in saying that he, personally isn't racist, he is still using racism and racist ideology to add momentum to his campaign. (See what I said about opportunism a few posts ago). Therefore, anyone supporting Trump in the polls is supporting racism. You may not like it being pointed out: that is half the reason so many of his supporters like him after all, they're tired of being called the horrible people they are. The code word for this is "political correctness". They consider this issue SO important they are willing to overlook Trump's incredible lack of experience, his inability and unwillingness to learn, his support for suppression of free speech, his misogyny, his lies and his complete and utter ineptitude - the like we have never seen out of a presidential candidate before. Why? Because the racists have a voice again, they feel almost relevant again, and they do not want to let it go. Nevertheless, this ideology is a moldy dinosaur. It produces unhappiness for everyone involved, not just the minorities it's currently targeting, it suppresses economic activity (why do you think companies care about this issue? Out of their generous hearts and empathy?), and it curtails innovation and progress. This is why ultimately it will be forced back into the shadows again. As will Trump.

The truth hurts. So be it.
