What do conservatives fear?

How does the Conservative value of Purity affect their understanding of Fairness and Caring? I mean, when you try to religiously constrain people (through not getting medical treatment, from learning incorrect things, etc) or by religiously forcing them to do things (conversion therapy, home schooling, baptism, brainwashing, young marriages, etc), a conservative may understand that as Fair and helpful while a liberal may understand that as Unfair and uncaring. Suppose one defends the findings of this "Qyestionnaire [sic]" by saying it's the intent of the Conservative that matters, but what if it's willful ignorance as some of the cause of this issue...that is, they at least in part willfully want to remain in a state of denial that they are harming people? Then, would we in the world of Reality say they value fairness and caring as much as they think they do?

What do conservatives fear?

Death.

This is why they have an emotional need for structure, easy answers and religion.

D'ja ever really notice how conservative politics match conservative religion?

I mean, there are people who daily pray to God, for example, to end abortion. God does fuck-all for them. They come up with rationalizations so that God's still a good guy, who cares, he just has his own agenda... They blame the atheists, or theists of the wrong religion, or the sinners, never God.

They elect people who spend the campaign promising, for example, to end abortion. The candidate becomes their political representative, who does fuck-all for thei and their interests. they work for the guys who paid the most money to their campaign. And the conservatives come up with rationales, blaming the Democrats, blaming immigrants, blaming anyone but the guy they put in office...

I just look at all those people who voted Trump in, and are now praying that he won't come through on those campaign promises that are going to screw them over. How will they rationalize it when both of their heroes disappoint them?

IOW, conservatives lie about their actual morals and values, and/or use words in ways to mean their exact opposite. We know that. After all, they tend to be more religious and their religion is at its core web of lies to rationalize and cover-up its foundation of hateful intolerance, selfish objectives. To the Christian "caring" about people is their claimed motive for robbing homosexuals of their human rights, and psychologically torturing them till they kill themselves. To people like Trump, "caring" about people is letting the poor starve and die from treatable illness because that's how you teach them self-reliance.

That's not an accident. Religion is designed to change how people regard their leaders as well as the sociopolitical systems in which they live.
